WHAT IS THE PLAYGROUND?

We’ve noticed many of you wanted to keep doing improv, but busy lives, out-of-town travels and life up & downs often came in the way. The Playground is the low-comitment, high-fun solution to that. Every two weeks, a new session, a new teacher, a new theme and a brand new flavor of fun.

IS THIS SESSION FOR ME?

This session is for you if you’ve completed one of courses or if you have previous improv experience. For total newbies, this isn’t the place. Check out to our Tasters classes & Beginners course for that.

  • Monday, 19:30-21:30, every two weeks
  • Classes will take place on the following Mondays: 29 April – 13 May – 27 May – 10 June – 24 June – 08 July
  • The Theaterschool, Pieter de Hoochstraat 29, 3024 CP Rotterdam, Pays-Bas
  • You can buy each session individually for 25€ or get a 4-sessions card for 80!

Will I get a refund if I cannot make it?

We do not refund the Playground sessions. Drop us a line and we’ll make sure to find you a spot in another session.

How do you run your classes?

We strive to hold welcoming, inclusive & intentional spaces. Our classes & events are run according to our code of conduct. We expect our students, participants and audience to respect this code and SPARK’s core values and act with kindness and genuine consideration towards one another.

I’ve done improv before. Is this for me?

If you’ve done a few classes here and there, or if you haven’t played in a while, we recommend you take this intro class. If you’ve completed a full intro course with another school, check out our workout class.

I’ve NEVER done improv before. Is this for me?

No! This session is for folks with some improv experience under their belt. To try it out, come to one of our taster classes or join our basics course.
